Hello panto friends.Came to see aladin on Thursday and had a blast. It was great to see that the players continue to blast all other pantos out of the water! The whole cast were fantastic and I thought that the band were excellent. I have not laughed so much for ages and it was great to see all of my old friends performing so well.

 

I had a great couple of evenings hanging out with you guys and would like to thank you all for making Katy myself and our boys feel like we still belong. It was nice to join you and celebrate YOUR success. I know it sounds a bit poncy but I felt so proud of everyone and hope that you all had a thoroughly enjoyable week.

 

I would also like to congratulate Mark Cozens and Dawn Jones on writing such a cool script. He's a clever boy, my brother!! Good lad, Skid. You done good! Oh yeah the costumes were marvellous too. Who was the one dressed like Sandy Shaw? My mum is a clever girl and all!!!

Enough of my wittering.Hope to see those invited to my birthday party on 7th March. Let me know if you are coming if you have not already.

I was asked last week if I would like to go and see a panto at Wonersh, Well ok I said what are they doing? Aladdin came the reply. That’s timely sine I’m re-writing one of my Aladdin scripts for next Januarys CLT production and I like to go round and see what local groups have to offer. Well suppose being involved with amateur panto production for years, I would, first at Brook and now with Compton and I like to see other local shows.

I must say Aladdin was a very upbeat show, packed with good old innuendo, original songs and packed full of energy. It really came over to the audience that the cast were enjoying the show as much as the audience, which made for a winning combination. Very often in amateur groups the panto songs are just so lack lustre and well painful to experience, not the case at Wonersh all very enjoyable!

I just do not know how you managed to pack so much in. A very good show, congratulation to all involved. I appreciate how much effort a show like this takes and for a good charity as well.
